A 12 page staple bound text written to coincide with Jeffrey Steele’s exhibition of eight paintings from his Sg series at the Galerie Swart, Amsterdam in 1978, an international centre for avant garde art during the 1960s and 70s. Steele worked on his Sg series for more than forty years, a programme in which the artist and his free will were rejected in favour of the artist discovering rational aspects of the system as a whole. Peter Lowe and Norman Dilworth also showed at Galerie Swart.
