Well-preserved, vibrant, comb-bound paper sampler produced by Wiggins Teape, the paper making company formed in Aldgate, London in 1761 under the name Edward and Jones. Operating today as Arjowiggins Appleton, the company incorporates the French paper makers Arches, Johannot, Marais, Rives and Prioux-Dufournier. The catalogue includes an assortment of fold-outs, single-page items, and an envelope of sample greeting cards. White, laminated stiff card covers with white titles over a time-lapse photograph of moving machinery (a printing press?), comb binding only visible at the back of the book.
