Full page colour illustrations by Sidney Nolan from a series of paintings based on Britten's Children's Crusade. Facsimile musical score published on the 22nd November 1973 to mark the composer's sixtieth birthday. Designed and printed at The Curwen Press, London and bound by Henry Brooks (Bookbinders) Limited and Zaehnsdorf (Binders) Ltd. The Children's Crusade was written for the members of Wandsworth School Boys' Choir to perform on the 50th Anniversary of The Save the Children Fund at St Paul's Cathedral on 19th May 1969. The work was dedicated to Hans Werner Henze.
