His Tappeti-natura’, hyperrealist sculptures made from Polyurethane, simulated images of riverbanks, cave floors, forests and vegetable gardens. These works were first exhibited in 1966 at Galleria Gian Enzo Sperone in Turin and the following year at Sonnabend in Paris, Fischbach in New York and Zwirner in Cologne.
