Franc Dixon's copy of Alan Bowness’s monumental catalogue raisonné of Victor Pasmore's paintings, constructions and graphics. Large folio format. 334 pages including three essays by Pasmore and several of his poems, 249 plates , 51 in colour and 606 catalogue illustrations.

Victor Pasmore held his first abstract solo exhibition at the Redfern Gallery, London, in 1948. Herbert Read, an important art critic of the time, described Pasmore's new style as 'The most revolutionary event in post-war British art'.

Franc Dixon collaborated with Victor Pasmore on the design of the South West Area of Peterlee New Town between 1954 and 1961. Dixon's library reveals a deep interest in Pasmore's work, both visually and academically, with Marlborough exhibition catalogues sitting along side important critical works such as The Developing Process.
