Catalogue of an important early exhibition of works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti held at The New Gallery, Regent Street, London, 1897–1898. The catalogue lists over 200 works of which 78 are by Rossetti, including The Loving Cup, now in The National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo; Rossetti’s 1867 pencil Portrait of Ford Madox Brown; the collaborative work “King René's Honeymoon Cabinet” (1861) now in the V&A; Lady Lilith (1867) now in the Metropolitan Museum, New York ; La Donna della Finestra (1879) now in the Harvard Museums Collection and many other important works by Rossetti now in museum collections. The consulting committee for the exhibition included Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Sir Edward Burne-Jones, E. Onslow Ford, Alfred Gilbert, William Holman Hunt, Isidore Spielmann and G.F Watts among others.
